Article 141 of the Human Resources Law:

1. An employee enrolled in a distance learning program within or outside the State or a regular employee in evening studies at one of the institutes or schools recognized in the State may be granted a gross salary for the performance of the quarterly and annual examinations determined in accordance with the approved examination program The employee may be granted an additional leave prior to the start of the examination date by not more than five working days if the examinations are performed within the country and not more than ten working days if the examinations are performed outside the country.

2. The employee may be given a short semester break for two hours per day to attend classes in any accredited course until the end of the program.
