We would like to inform you that you may apply for asylum in Canada if you are persecuted or are at risk of persecution or inhuman treatment in your country and you will be in Canada or on the border of Canada to be able to apply for asylum. The only exception here applies to refugees with quotas who may apply for asylum through UNHCR in another country.
If you are seeking protection in Canada, you will submit your application application either to the border police when you enter Canada or to an immigration application unit. The Canadian Immigration unit Service may not approve the asylum application submitted to an Canadian embassies. If you do not have the ability to come to Sweden to apply for protection, you may send it to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
