We would like to inform you that the driving license requirements are:

License applicant shall have completed 18 years old for the light license and motorbike license and completed 21 years for heavy license and equipment.

To be free of disabilities and diseases that prevent him from driving (some people with certain disabilities may be subject to medical examination).

Pass the eyes examination.

Submit two photos with the license application form.

A copy of the ID or a copy of the passport.

For females:

The presence of the guardian personally or his representative with a letter of non objection to the licensing manager.

A copy of the marriage contract for married women or the birth certificate of a child.

A copy of the passport.

Additional requirements and are special for non-Omani:

Non-objection of the sponsor.

Statement of blood type.

A copy of the labor card along with a copy of the passport.

A letter from the husband's workplace in case the woman does not work stating that she is accompanied by  him and a copy of the husband's labor card.

The incoming tourist is allowed to use the driver's license obtained from his country as well as the international driver's license for 3 months
