We would like to inform you that a foreigner can modify his residency status by changing his visa from a tourist visa to a work visa. However, sometimes the Public Administration of Residency rejects the modification of the residency status depending on the nationality. This is decided by issuing some internal executive resolutions that aren’t announced and which change from time to time. So, we recommend reviewing The Public Administration of Residency to make sure there’s no ban imposed on Bangladesh inhabitants, concerning the change from a tourist to work visa.
