We would like to inform you that , The Employee shall be entitled to annual leave of fifteen (15) days for the first year, which shall be increased to thirty days if the duration of the worker's service extends to more than that.

As it is the right of the employer to postpone the worker to get the annual leave for one day.

And may not be delayed more than once, and if the employer violated that, the worker can submit a complaint to the Ministry of Labor forces.

Here is the text of the Labor Law in the Sultanate of Oman, concerning your inquiry:

Article (61)

The worker shall have the right to an annual leave with a basic wage for fifteen days after completing one year of continuous service with the employer, which shall be increased to thirty days for each year thereafter.

The worker has the right to an emergency leave for a total period of four days throughout the year to meet any emergency circumstances and not more than two days at a time.

The period of continuous service which commenced before the coming into force of this law shall be calculated within the period of service considered in determining the period of the due leave. The year may not be canceled.

Article (62)

Except for the holidays of the juvenile workers, the leave shall be distributed according to the requirements of the work.

The employer may postpone the annual leave in accordance with the preceding paragraph to one year following.

The year should be performed at least once every two years for at least two weeks.

The employer may pay the basic wage for the annual leave days that he has not received if the worker agrees in writing. If you have another question, feel free to ask us and we will answer with pleasure.
