Article (56)
Workers who are hired at an annual or monthly wage are paid at least once a month and all other workers are paid at least once every two weeks.

A worker may leave work without notice in one of the following cases:
1- If the employer violates his obligations before the worker in the articles stipulated in the contract or the law.
2- If the employer or his legal representative signs an assault on the worker.
You may be allowed to change the employer without NOC. Also, if you have work contract or work offer then go to the bank to get your bank statement to clarify the amount which is deposited to your account in the last months. Then there is violation and you have to go to the labor office and file a complaint against the employer in UAE branch.
Moreover, the employer doesn’t have the right to take your passport. If they took it then you can ask them to return it, if they refuse then you can file a complaint in the nearest police office and you can take copy of the complaint to the labor office to clarify the violation by the employer. As the law allows the governmental entities with legal reason otherwise it considered legal violation but the private companies are not allowed to take the passport.

Article (116)

If the contract is terminated by the worker for reasons other than those stipulated in Article (121), the worker is obliged to compensate the employer for what is stipulated in article (121) Shall be entitled to loss as a result of the dissolution of the contract, Exceed the amount of compensation paid half a month for a period of three months or the remaining term of the contract whichever is shorter, and all that unless there is a provision in the contract providing otherwise

Then, you have to pay compensation to the employer to get your passport so we recommend a friendly settlement with him if it is related to the violation of you and in contradiction with the provisions or text of the contract of work and that the best solutions so that you can change the faces of work and get a non-objection and cancel the previous visa, The best way to go to the sponsor and reach a settlement with him in order to cancel the visa and cancel the ban if any
