We would like to inform you that if your brother is charged with trafficking, so according to the provisions of Article 207: Any person who has been trafficking with narcotics or presenting them for use or facilitated its use by charge or without charge or obtained with the intention of giving it to others, unless he is proved to be authorized to do so, shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 7 years and a fine not exceeding 525 dinars.

While if he is charged with the use of drugs, so according to the provisions of Article 208: Anyone who buys or possesses narcotic substances for addicted use or personal use shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years and a fine of not more than 150 dinars, unless he proves that he bought or obtained these substances under a license or medical prescription by a doctor.

The competent authorities will punish him and then deport him and impose a ban against  him.
