We would like to inform you that to be able to work regularly within the Swiss territory, you must first obtain a contract of employment with a Swiss employer who applies to apply for your work visa and then you can travel to work there and you will be granted a permit and work permit upon arrival in Swiss territory where you must have a work permit before you enter the country, considering that you can't enter Switzerland as a tourist, visitor or on a business trip and then do the work and if you want to work you should leave Switzerland and then apply from your country.
Once you have a job, the employer will apply to the local employment department in the canton who will review the application and then forward it to the FOM for approval. When considering your application, FOM will take factors such as language skills, age and integration into consideration, In the following cases:
- You are a manager, a specialist or a qualified worker in another way, that is, you have a university degree and you have specific experience and several years of professional experience
- Planned shares allow this
- No Swiss or European Union / European Free Trade Association (EFTA) member is eligible for this position
The residence permit is granted to persons working in Switzerland for up to one year, which is related to the duration of the employment contract and can be extended in exceptional cases for up to 24 months. A permit to work in Switzerland depends on many factors, including where you are and the skills you have.
