We would like to inform you that according to the Ministerial Decision No. 279 of year 2107, and with regard to the classification criteria and classification of the contractors in relation to the new system of classification of enterprises, it added a new level to the second category in the current system and the current standards for the inclusion of enterprises in three categories.
The first category of the new system includes fishing boats owned by citizens and enterprises, members of the Emiratisation Partners Club and small and medium-sized enterprises that are members of youth support institutions that meet the required conditions and controls, as well as service centers.
The category is classified as "Category 2" and is defined as "A", "B", "C" and "D" in this category according to the ratio of skilled labor. If the percentage of workers (skilled worker) is 40% or more of the total registered labor, and the establishment has at least 50% of the multicultural ratio.
The establishment is classified as category (2-b) if the percentage of workers (skilled workers) is from 10% to less than 40% of the total registered labor. The establishment has at least 50% of the multicultural ratio.
The establishment is classified in category (2-c) if the percentage of workers (skilled worker) is from 5% to less than 10% of the total registered labor. The establishment has at least 50% of the multicultural ratio.
The establishment is classified as category (2-d) if the percentage of workers in the category "skilled worker" does not constitute 5% of the total registered employment, or the establishment does not have at least 50% of the multicultural ratio.
