Treatment of lymph nodes enlargment:

• treatment of the cause.
• if they are reactive, they need follow up.
• if they are infected, antibiotic as augmentin are needed.
• if they are due to lymphoma ,chemotherapy ptotocol is recommended accrding to the type.

Diagnosis of lymph node enalrgment:

• clinical history and medical examination.
• ultrasound for the lymph nodes and abdomen
• ultrasound can define the shape and charactarixe the lymph node if they are benign looking or suspicous.
• if they are suspicous core biopsy or exision biospy from the lymph nodes is recommended.
• CBC to determeine if there is anemia of lymphocystosis
• CT scan to determine if there is splenic enlargment and other abdomninal lymph nodes enlargment.

causes of lymph node enalegment:

• rective ti any infecoius process in the body which is the most common cause.
• lymphadenitis to sterptococcus bacteria.
• lymphoma , the child will compalin of fever , night sweat and loss of wieght.

recommendation:

• ultrasound for the lymph node is recommended 
• if they are bengin follow up
• if they are suspcious core biopsy is recomended.
