 You should go to the Traffic Department and apply for a driving license. The following documents should be attached to the application:
passport
The sponsor's identity card
Medical examination certificate
No objection from the sponsor

For issuing a driving license, you shall be a resident of Qatar and a short residence will not be sufficient to approve the driving license application. In all cases, you shall follow the previous procedures without the sponsor's consent or even provide the medical certificate. The final decision shall remain with the competent authorities.

We would like to inform you that If you wish to obtain a driver's license, you must be a resident of the State of Qatar either work, study or family stay. You can modify your stay by going to the Immigration General Administration and submitting a special request for this
