It should be noted that after reviewing your inquiry and legal scrutiny we would like to inform you that to adopt in Oman, there are conditions for this and the foreign who resident in Oman is not allow for adoption:
- Muslim Omani family consisting of a valid couple and when necessary, embrace the child by a woman.
- The age of the couple or the incubator should be 25-55 years
- The couple should be honest and conduct
- Be able to take care of the child socially and psychologically from the reality of social research carried out by the competent authority and give priority to embrace the economically capable family.
- The medical examination shall prove that family members are free from infectious diseases and mental, psychological and behavioral disorders.
**It is worth mentioning that in Omani laws, the word "embrace" is used instead of "adoption" of unknown children
