We would like to inform you that if you want to edit your daughter family name, then you have to file a case in the courts where you reside. Note that before that you have to get NOC from the embassy to edit your name. Then court will check your case and if there is reason to edit the name then they will issue judicial decision, after that go to your country embassy to do the name edition in the Civil Treatments Department.

Note that if the name was written mistakenly by the employee and that cause differs in the family name, then that doesn’t need a case but you can apply to correct the mistake in the Civil Treatments Department in the embassy.

Therefore, in all case you have to review your country embassy to find out the procedures.
