We would like to inform you that The applicant for a private or public market license from a non-Kuwaiti person must have a legal residence in the country of at least two years and his monthly salary should not be less than KD 600 if he holds a university degree.
The decision specifies the excluded categories of conditions:
- The wife of Kuwaiti and his foreign widow or his foreign wife who has children from him.
- Students enrolled in a university or an applied institute within Kuwait.
- Housewives who have children, provided that their husbands are categories authorized to hold a market license exempted from the policeman's duration of stay and salary received
- Private servants and similar workers for a period not less than (5) consecutive years at the same sponsor, provided that the profession is changed to a driver.
- Technicians specialized in oil fields in oil companies.
