We would like to inform you that according to the Residence Law for Expatriates Qatar No. (21) for the year 2015
Article (13)
An expatriate who permits his family to stay must apply for a residence permit within 90 days from the date of birth or entry into the country. In the event of birth outside the country and the parents or one of them has a valid residence permit, the child is allowed to enter within six months from the date of birth and The competent authority may waive this period and the applicant of the expatriate woman for the visit may apply to amend the status of her child born within the State within sixty days from the date of birth. The children of expatriates born within the State shall be granted residence permit in accordance with the conditions and regulations issued by a decision of the Minister
Article (24):
If the Foreign National does not obtain a Residency Permit in accordance with this law, then he must leave the country.
The Foreign National must also leave the country within 90 days if his Residency Permit expires or it is revoked for any reason, or if the stated purpose for which he received the Residency Permit has expired.
The Foreign National may, with authorization from the Competent Authorities, re-enter the country provided that he has fulfilled the conditions necessary for entry, as prescribed in this law and its implementing regulation.
