We would like to inform you that according to the UAE Penal Code, the crime of theft is the unlawful seizure of property of others for the purpose of depriving them of it. Other crimes are referred to as theft, but not according to the law: robbery, theft, breach of trust, identity theft, or fraud.
There are two types of theft: aggravated theft and theft.
And aggravated theft: For example, when two armed men steal a house at night, the charge is often a felony. If you are accused of it, you will find yourself in prison for life.
The simple theft is theft without the above circumstances. The charge may be a misdemeanor. If convicted, you will find yourself in prison for at least 6 months, in addition to deportation if you are a foreigner.
