Lawyer's Assistant: Where are you located? It matters because laws vary by location
I have booked my luggage from New Delhi to Kannur, Kerala on 03-05-2019 through VRL Cargo. They have ensured me that the delivery will be made in 10-12 days period and collected the whole chrages while collecting the luggage. However, the luggage has not been delivered till date despite my continuous follow ups. They keep on saying that it will be delivered in few days. Since the cargo consist my daughters study material, I am currently under massive pressure. How can I get my luggage now?

I am located currently in Dubai, U.A.E. My daughter was studying in New Delhi. After completion of her course in Delhi, she has shifted to home town in Kannur, Kerala and the luggage was sent via cargo.

While following ups with cargo representatives, they were not responding properly and keep on giving me false promises. The delivery date that they promised me last time was 04-Jul'2019 and I have waited till that date. Now I don't have any other option than to approach the consumer court to get my luggage asap.

The situation may be referred to the court later to consider on the submitted complaint to obligate the shipping company to extradite and also to pay compensation to you for any damage caused by non-delivery of the bags
