Hello Mr. Mohamed , Hope you are well and hope you could assist. We left our villa a year ago ( owned by nakheel ) with a dispute over deposit left the country and came back few months ago the case was closed and we didn't have the chance to object as it was too late . Now my wife has a travel ( warrant of arrest ) and at the CID there is a request of 46k payment as rent was kept ongoing. Now my homework has been done at the dispute center and too late to appeal, as we don't have this amount I was wondering if I could give my passport to the police as a warrant and and pay a very small amount to start ? Reason we would like to do so as now her visa hasent been renewed for 2months over stay and blocked, I would also like to request if possible to have an Arabic speaker lawyer to assist me going to the police to request so ? Before you suggest nakheel is not open for any negotiation already tried everything and the legal case has been closed for too long no sense re-opening the case compared to the amount . Would very much appreciate some help and advice on my steps to get out of this . Thank you

We would like to inform you that if a judicial verdict forced your wife to pay AED 46k to the company due to dispute , then she has to pay the full amount.
If the company refused negotiation or decrease the amount, then she must pay the full amount so she will be able to renew the residence.
Moreover, you can hire a lawyer to help you legally and review the police.

I repeat my question I know she has to pay the amount, question is can I be her warrant to travel and give them my passport with 10k per example ? To avoid extra stay and at least start repaymemt, I mean there must be a legal solution if we don't have this amount and for her to have as a warrant or sign a document ???????
