 It should be noted that after reviewing your inquiry and legal scrutiny we would like to provide that residents can apply for a short visit visa for their families and relatives to enter Qatar for one month, but relatives who want to stay longer must undergo a medical examination within 72 hours of entering the country.

The visa can be extended for another five months to relatives of first and second class relatives and relatives in law (father, mother, sister, children) and for two months to other kinship levels. Foreigners wishing to bring their families to Qatar can apply for a family residence visa.

Attach the following documents with the application form in the case of a request to bring the wife:
A copy of the ID card or passport of the resident spouse and a copy of the valid wife's passport.
A statement from the husband's employer about profession and salary.
Copy of marriage contract (documented)

In the case of an application for a relative, the following documents must be attached:

A copy of the sponsor's passport or a copy of the ID card and a copy of the visitor's valid passport.
A copy of the sponsor's wife's passport with valid residence or lease contract.
• A statement from the sponsor's employer of the job title and salary.
A proof of kinship.

Additional information
The application form must be filled out in Arabic, and the names and data should be typed as in the passport.

An exit permit is required for male visa holders who are over the age of 18, and who want to stay longer than thirty days.

Fees
Visa issuance fees are 200 riyals. 50 riyals for each escort, and extended by the same fees. The amount of 200 riyals is paid on each day of overstay when the visit visa's term is violated.
