We would like to inform you that UAE Labor Law provides for the worker the right to receive his annual leave provided that the employer agrees to start such leave. In other words, this is subject to the employer's consent or refusal to take the vacation.
 Here is the text of the UAE Labor Law concerning your inquiry:
Article 76
The employer may fix the date of commencement of annual leave and, if necessary, divide such leave into not more than two periods. However, the leave division provision shall not apply to leaves of child workers.
