We would like to inform you that Based on the provisions of the Electronic Crimes Law, this act is punishable by imprisonment for a term of 3 years or a fine of not more than 100,000 riyals. You may file a complaint with the nearest police department and they will take the necessary legal measures

Article 8 of the Electronic Crimes Law provides that:

Any person violates any of the principles or social values, or publishes news, pictures, or audio or video recordings related to the inviolability of private person, shall be punished to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years and a fine not exceeding 100,000 riyals. If the violation is related to a family member, even if they are correct, or infringe/insult on others by means of a computer network or an information technology device.
