We would like to inform you that yes, according to the General Directorate of Traffic in the UAE, the owners of vehicles and drivers whose licenses issued from any of the traffic and licensing departments in the UAE may complete all the licensing services of vehicles and drivers in Dubai, except for the registration procedures and new releases. It is now possible for people living in Dubai and holding a vehicle license or a driving license issued by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi or the Northern Emirates to complete their traffic and licensing transactions through the Customer Service Centers of the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai without the need to review the License Issuer. Providing such services is a part of the activation of the Federal Traffic and Licensing System project jointly by the Ministry of Interior, Dubai Police and Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), as directed by His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. Also to provide such services for applicants in their places of residence and in implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed between the Ministry and the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai.
