I have two cases files against me for bounced...

I have two cases files against me for bounced cheque...one for AED 21,500 and other one is by Dunia for AED 100,000 (my actual outstanding on the loan is only AED 54000 as of date). I learned about the cases only when applied for my residence visa renewal (am sponsered by my wife...I am currently unemployed and had business but faced some unfortunate losses and hence the business is no more since 5 months now)...at the police station the officer has issued me summons to appear before the judge on July 8 and told me the fine in one case will be AED 2000 and the other will be AED 5000. my question is what happens if I am unable to pay the entire fine as although I am trying with friends to help me I don't think I will be able to arrange the entire 7000 by that time...perhaps half of that is what I think I will be able to...so what happens in such a case? appreciate your opinion. thanks...VinitWhere are you located? Also, I would like to mention here that the first case for AED 21,500 is filed by Meraas Concierge LLC with whom I had a laundry service contract and there was some backlog from my side in giving them the commission to which they abruptly discontinued my services and appointed another service provider without informing me...37 days before the contracts natural expiry...I have emailed exchanged between us to prove this. the other case is of personal loan from dunia finance where the entire loan amount was for AED 55000 to be repayed in 4 years by me and i was repaying them regularly AED 2341/mnth ...i could not pay in Jan 2019 and requested them to understand my situation and have been paying since february 2019 until may 2019s installment... june i have not paid as i already realised they have filed a case of chq bounce on me in february itself

We would like to inform you that the penal order is the replacement of the punishment of imprisonment with a financial fine here the law gave the right to the creditor or the complainant to establish a civil suit and claim the value of indebtedness through a civil lawsuit and does not mean payment of the fine end of the case but the purpose of payment is to exempt you from imprisonment. In case the bank has set up a lawsuit, you must apply for installment payments for the accumulated amounts and lose your personal abilities and to pay them in monthly installments. Therefore, in the event of a lawsuit before the court, you can apply for installment payments and payments according to your financial ability to avoid imprisonment.

OK...but what if I am not able to pay the fine completely on JULY 8 when I am to appear before the judge...due to financial situation I do not think i will be able to arrange for the entire amount by then...like the police informed me the fine will be AED 7000 so what happens if I dont have that entire amount on that day?

The amount of fine shall be paid so as not to be subjected to any legal issues such as imprisonment, as the amount of fine may not be paid as installments, so it shall be paid in full.
