Hello.. during the summer mid-day break time of 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm, can we continue working on construction site if the building fascia is covered with net, providing shade to the labourers? Thanks.

We would like to inform you that Referring to the UAE Labor Law regulating the situation in the text of article (66):
Article 66
The daily working hours shall be so regulated that no worker shall work for more than five successive hours without breaks - for rest, meals and prayer- amounting in aggregate to not less than one hour. Such breaks shall not be included as part of the working hours.
*** Thus, work can be done if the hours of rest are over and regardless of the nature of the work environment and therefore the nature of the work related to the law with no violation in respect of rest hours
