Authorized Representative submits Application of special Labourer attached with the supporting documents to MoMP service counter.
Application is processed; permit is issued and sent to the Bank Counter.
Authorized Representative pays fees of (RO 141) at the Bank Counter. Permit is stamped and given to the Authorized Representative.
B:-Permit to Import Private Nurses Processes:
Obtain Application of Special Labourer from an Accredited Typing Office. The Accredited Typing Office completes the form with the provided details then prints the form for a fee. For information on fees and a list of Accredited Typing Offices contact the SANAD Project Program at +968 24 815685.

Copy of applicant ID card or passport.
Proof of married marital status (Certificate of Marriage obtained from Ministry of Justice).
B:-Permit to Import Private Nurses
Supporting Documents:
Copy of applicant ID card or passport.
Medical Report presenting patient status obtained from Ministry of Health.
Ministry of Health approval to import a private nurse (obtained while collecting the Medical Report).
Proof of Salary/ Income (minimum requirement RO 350 per month).
C:-Permit to Import Farmer to Work on a Private Farm
Supporting Documents:
Copy of applicant ID card or passport.
Farm Deed Certificate or the Lease Contract from Ministry of Housing, Electricity and Water if wells used for watering or Sharie’a Instrument if Falajs are used for watering (Original and Copy).
Well Registration Certificate (Original and Copy), obtained from Ministry of Regional Municipalities, Environment and Water Resources.
Farm Possession (Original and Copy), obtained from Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
D:-Permit for Non-Omanis Working in the Private Sector to Import Employees to Work in Private Houses (Drivers, Cooks and Nannies and others for similar work)
Supporting Documents:
Salary/ Income Certificate obtained from the current employer of the applicant starting a minimum salary of (RO 500) for female and (RO 1,000) for male Domestic Help.
Approved Salary/ Income Certificate provided by the current employer.
Copy of applicant ID card or passport.
Proof of marital status as married (Certificate of Marriage obtained from Ministry of Justice).
E:-Permit to Import Employees to Work in Private Houses to Look after Handicapped and Senior Citizens (Exempted)
Supporting Documents:
Salary/ Income Certificate obtained from the current employer of the applicant starting a minimum salary of (RO 500) for female and (RO 1,000) for male Domestic Help.
Approved Salary/ Income Certificate provided by the current employer.
Copy of applicant ID card or passport.
Proof of marital status as married (Certificate of Marriage obtained from Royal Oman Police).
Special conditions if any applicable
A:-Permit to Import Employees to Work in Private Houses (Drivers, Cooks and Nannies and others for similar work)
Prerequisites:
Eligibility to Import Domestic Help starts with a minimum of RO 350 for the first imported employee, RO 700 for the second, and RO 1,400 for the third. Combined income of the spouses should be a minimum of RO 500 to import one female Domestic Help.
To import male Domestic Help a minimum of RO 700 income is required; combined income of the spouses is not applicable.
For a spouse working in the private sector he/she must earn a minimum income of RO 350.
B:-Permit for Non-Omanis Working in the Private Sector to Import Employees to Work in Private Houses (Drivers, Cooks and Nannies and others for similar work)
Conditions:
Imported Domestic Help must be sponsored by the employer.
Only one Domestic Help is permitted per expatriate employee.
Imported Domestic Help will not be counted on Employer Omanisation rate.
If the Domestic Help is a driver, a vehicle must be owned by the employee.
Applicable for companies with International or Special Commercial Registration Degree for the following non-Omani posts:
General Manager.
Manager.
Consultants.
Doctor or Pharmacist.
Specialist.
Engineer.
Lawyer.
c- Licenses for the recruitment of domestic workers to care for the disabled, the elderly (exempt)
Benefits of exemption:
· Persons with Disabilities: The exemption includes partial or total disability, a disabled person, a blind person and a paralyzed person (an authorized medical report).
· Elderly: The elderly include patients, or who can not move, and have no relatives to care for.
Conditions:
· The exemption applies to applicants whose salaries are less than 350 Omani Riyals.
· The last medical report issued by the Ministry of Health describes the health condition of the patient.
· Conducting social research by the competent authorities (the Ministries of Social Development and Health), clarifies the patient's health, social and economic status.
· If the income of the patient is less than RO 250, a relative can ensure the worker on his behalf, subject to the following conditions:
· That the conditions for the recruitment of labor apply to it, taking into account that the worker is not the only one under his or her sponsorship.
· To open a bank account for the employee for the purpose of depositing his salary.
· Bear obligations, and other financial responsibilities.
· Submit an annual report supporting the situation of the elderly or disabled.
