I want to know about marriage procedure

We would like to inform that If If you want to complete marriage procedures in the UAE, you must have at least the husband or wife has a valid residence in the UAE and the Sharia Court in Dubai is the procedure of marriage in two cases:

- The first to be Muslim couple

- Second, the husband must be at least a Muslim

If the couple is not Muslim, the marriage procedure takes place in the church or in the embassy of the country to which the couple belongs. And the documents required to complete the marriage procedure include:

 Passport for husband and wife

- UAE residence for at least one of the spouses

- Attend the guardian of the wife himself or send a proxy to a Muslim person in the UAE.

- A recent medical examination of the couple coming to get married from a UAE hospital

- Official certificate of the marital status of both spouses issued by the embassy of their state

- Attending two witnesses.

It may take a period of processing the documents necessary to complete the marriage procedure between two weeks to a month and the period varies according to the pressure of work with the concerned authorities.
