We would like to inform you that the UAE Government, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, decided to put a new visa regime for persons over the age of 55 years allowing them to stay in the country for a long time.
The new residency law in the UAE provides for 5 years residency privileges that are automatically renewed for retired retirees aged 55 years or older according to the law conditions
The conditions include that the retirees has an investment in a property worth two million dirhams (545.000$), or the savings of the retirees is not less than one million dirhams (272.000$), and the retirees has proof that his income per months is not less than 20.000 AED.
