If the father is missing or disappeared in this case, the marriage contract is concluded by her grandfather, if any, or one of her brothers, and it is possible to submit a request to the judge to be the guardian of the girl and marry her, and the documents required for marriage are:

- Birth certificates

- Original passports and pictures of residence visas

- Certificate of proof of status, whether the bridegroom or the bride is single or widowed or certified, whether outside the UAE (by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the applicant and the UAE Consulate in that country) or in the UAE (by the Consulate of the applicant and the UAE Foreign Ministry)

- Certificate of healthy fitness for marriage
