Causes of continuous vomiting in cats: -
- The presence of a foreign object stuck in the digestive system (ball hair, rubber, plastic ...)
- Inflammation of the bowel due to bacterial or viral infection
- Parasitic infection (presence of intestinal worms)
- Enlarged esophagus
- Torsion of the intestines
treatment :-
- A complete x-ray image of the digestive system must be performed. If a foreign body is present, it should be surgically removed
- In the case of enlarged esophagus (also diagnosed by x-ray) must be provided food for the cat in the form of tubular and plate is the level of the cat is standing
- Inflammation of the bowel is treated by giving the cat flagyl for 5 days with a dose of 2 ml twice daily and give it Mutelem (to stop vomiting) the same dose and the number of days
- Intestinal torsion (shown in X-rays) is treated by surgery
- In the case of infection with worms, the cat should be given an antiparasitic drug such as bibrazine, eskazine or brazikontal tablets for half a tablet in the mouth for two consecutive days and the third dose after 14 days - available in veterinary clinics or Vermox vermox, usually at the rate of one quarter of a tablet for 2 days and the third dose as I mentioned previously after 14 days
