My son 2 years old had ASD closure through surgery two months back and he has teeth aching and needs to be removed is it ok to remove it

Regarding your questionis there an indication for prophylaxis in your case
- yes there is
- and it is a surgery for correcting a congenital heart disease within duration less than 6 months
- and you should always tell your doctor about his situation
how should your son prepared to tooth extraction preperation
- by giving your child antibiotics 30 to 60 minutes before the operation
- like amoxicillin 25mg/kg
- or co amoxiclave
