Treatment of ear block:

It depends on the cause, and till visit ENT doctor you can use the following treatment:

• Augmentin 625 mg three times daily for 10 days
• Gentamycin ear drops twice daily
• Ibuprofen 600 mg twice daily

and it may need surgical intervention to clear ear and remove collections if present.

Causes of ear block:

It may be caused by:

• Otitis media
• Inner ear infection
• Flu
• Fluid collection...etc

Diagnosis of the cause of ear block:

You have to visit ENT doctor for clinical examination and investigations as:

• Ear endoscope
• CBC...etc
