What is the treatment of Neck and head pain

• You should go to the nearest medical center if there is external inuries and for clinical assessment
• Bed rest and avoid unnecessary movment
• Apply cold compressors to your neck for 15 minutes several times per day
• Take Over the counter analgesic such as Ibuprofen 400 three times daily
• Apply Topical NSAIDs such as VOLTAREN GEL three times per day on your neck 
• Muscle relaxant such as Relaxon three times per day 

What are the causes of Neck pain

1. Trauma to the neck
2. Muscle strain
3. Inflammation
4. Herniated disc
5. Arthritis 

When you should Consult your doctor 

1. In case of severe and unbearable pain 
2. History of severe trauma 
3. Numbness 
4. Swelling
5. High fever

What should you do at the moment 

You should follow the advice provided . If there any signs of deterioration or there is no response to the treatment , YOU SHOULD consult a doctor in the nearest medical center for clinical assessment
