Treatment of vaginal discharge:

1. treatment depends mainly on the underlying cause, usually vaginal discharge is normal in women but
2. sometimes it is a sign of having an infection or other condition
3. clean the area regularly with gentle soap and warm water
4. keep the area dry and avoid humidity
5. wear cotton underwears
6. clean the area when using the bathroom from front to the back to avoid spreading any infection or bacteria to the vagina
7. avoid chemical products, scented soaps, sprays and bubble baths
8. antibiotics are prescribed if an infection is diagnosed

When is vaginal discharge a sign of infection?

3. itching or burning sensation
4. abnormal amount and consistency of discharge
5. pain when urinating 

Causes of vaginal discharge

Non-medical causes:
