Hi I am a 34 years old femmale I had cyst removal 3 weeks back and the wound healing was bad and i had infection, and they realized very high heart rate for more than one time beside fatigue and high blood pressure so i had blood tests which showed very very low cortisol level and elevated crp. I have insulin resistance and now it’s worse Beside the lipds which are all high My period is very heavy and irregular I also gained weight although i am on diet. All of the symptoms could lead to high cortisol level but i had it very very low Thanks for helping Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking? Yes I saw an endocrinologist Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know? I take metformin for insulin resistance

I took 2 tablets of hydrocortisone at 11:30 pm and checked it at 8am it was 28 the normal is 150-650The insulin resistance increasedCrp 6

How you would test your cortisol level?


Blood test and its done twice , once in the morning and another in the afternoon
Saliva test and usually done in the night
Urine analysis in 24 hour collection sample

Other investigation which might be required?


CT
MRI

What is the normal results for cortisol level?


6-23 microgram per decliter

I had a cortisol level of 28 mmol/l at 8 am i had two tablets of hydrocortisone at 11pmI have severe fatigue and blurred vision My diastolic pressure is elevatedThe crp is 5.8I have insulin resistance Can you help me until I see my doctor Is it something serious?Thanks

HiSorry for bothering I had sebaceous syst removal surgery one month back ftom my upper back right side, I had cellulitis in it and even after the surgery it got infected but cured with antibiotics,Two days back I had swollen lymph nodes under my arm which are painful and pain in the back ribs at the right side, the pain extends to all of the right side ribs back.is it related to that surgery or no?should I see a doctor?Thanks

with antibiotic treatemet well be cured in 2 weeks 
but you should have clinical exam  if persiste more than 2 week and others test ..
