I have hormonal acne since a long time. How can I treat it?

Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
I haven't consulted a doctor here in Qatar yet but yes, many doctors in my home country and nothing worked so far. They give me medications and it just didn't work so far.
Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
As far as I know, I am not allergic to any medications. And I don't know the actual cause for this acne and what triggers it.

Treatment of acne:
It depends on many factors as:- Age of the patient
- Type of acne
- Response to the different medications
- Tetracycline 100 mg twice daily
- Topical retinoid cream as tretinoin or tazarotene
- Isotretinoin
- Surgical intervention as laser therapy
Symptoms of acne vulgaris:
- Rash
- erythema
- Pain
- Dimples
Cause of acne vulgaris:
In most cases, genetic factors play an important role in the appearance of acne.Other risk factors:
- Cosmetic agent use
- PCOS
- Some medications as steroids
- Hormonal problems
- Excessive sunlight exposure...etc
