My son had fever last Thursday and had redness in his throat long with cough and slight nose block and sneezing so I put augmentin .. fever had reduced and gone by 5 th day sent him school with antibiotic put at regular intervals ... after having and sports day and slight hard time passing motion his fever has shoot up suddenly and is coming every 4 hours with profinal and voltaren 25mg . What to do ? Giving him water sponge bath lots fluid and he is sleeping right now but fever still is my concern ... why fever when it was reduced. Other kids in his class had streptococcus I heard since past two weeks ... no rashes no diarrhoea or vomiting sensation... only fever Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking? Augmentin for antibiotic 465 one and Zyrtec for nose block koflet for cough... for fever either profinal or voltaren the rectal one 25mg Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know? Nope just that he skips a lot his food at school most of the time to play more ... so end up with gas
