The hymen is a thin membrane of tissue, usually shaped like a crescent, that partially surrounds the lower part of the outer opening of the vagina. In some women, the hymen covers only partially, whereas in other cases, it completely obscures the opening almost. Some women are born without the hymen at all.
However, because women in some cultures believe the hymen intact to be a sign of virginity, many of them are looking for a hymen to restore the hymen to its original state.
Other women are doing this procedure simply for personal reasons, to strengthen their intimate area
Sexual intercourse is the most common activity that causes the dissolution of the hymen. However, hymen dissolution can also occur due to other activities not related to sexual activity such as falling on something sharp, or falling while skiing.

You will need to avoid swimming, avoid using pads, and avoid wearing tight underwear for at least two weeks after surgery.
You will also need to abstain from intercourse for at least four weeks after the procedure.
You should be able to return to work after a day of surgery, but full recovery may take up to six weeks.
The first follow-up will be scheduled after two to three weeks of surgery.
