What is Devit3 injection:

• it is a medication that contains high dose vitamine-D, which will help in calcium and phosphorous absorption and to help to meniralize the bones
• it is used only as injections, and the usual indication for it is because other "oral" vitamine-D exctracts are not effective

Indications:

• ineffective oral vitamine-D extracts
• vitamine-D defieciency due to malnutrition or malabsorption
• in calcium deficiency

Side effects:

• allergic reaction
• urination more than usual
• constipation
• irritability
• behavioral changes
