hi,i want to tell you that my mother is 50 yrs old and shez diabetic patient and her sugur level isnt normal nd shez a bp pateint too since frm 2 months shez having severe pain in kness and numbness in half side of a brain now shez suffering alot she cant ablle tou survive more knee pain her colestrl level is disturbed too and wht test should i need to dignose her pain

Treatment of knee pain:
Depends on the cause - usually taking (Nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug) is the goal standard in most cases
- if there is a history of trauma in the area she may consider consulting an orthopedics
- if she is sufferring from hotness and swelling of the joint she may need to take antibiotics in case there is an infection in the joint
- special medication is taken in case of inflammatory arthropathy like rheumatoid arthritis or gout or systemic lupus erythematosis
- in all cases you should consult an internalist in your problem
Diagnosis of knee pain:
- clinical history and physical examination
- knee x-ray
- complete blood count
- measuring levels of ESR and CRP
- sonographic doppler of the venous sysytem in the area
- doing computed tomography or MRI if needed
Causes of knee pain:
- trauma of knee joint
- infection in the knee joint
- inflammatory process like in rheumatoid arthritis, gout and SLE
- venous thrombosis
- neurological caues like in diabetic patients
- Baker's cyst
