Treatment of hepatitis B virus:

• usually there is no perfect treatment from the virus
• early vaccination during childhood is the cornerstone of prevention and protection from that virus
• there are few medications like (Pyglated inteferone alphs, Entecavir and Tenofovir). and there are variable guidlines to take those medications so it is mainly dependant on the tests and the different diagnostic methods been used by the doctor
• ultrasonography of the liver is recommended every 5 months after few damages of liver

Diagnosis of hepatitis B virus:

• measuring the HBs antigene which is a protein that is formed by the virus indicating its productivity and active infectious state
• measuring the Anti-HBc antibodies and Anti-HBe antibodies.  both of them indicate the presence of the virus and the immune response of the body against it
• measuring the level of DNA of the virus in  the blood
• doing a sonography for the abdomine and the liver
• doing liver function test

Cause of hepatitis B virus:

• it is a virus that affct patients through a blood contact of an affected patient, through sexual transmittion or through a longitudinal transmission from the the mother to the baby during pregnancy
• it affects the liver and cause a chronic disease which may lead to cirrhotic liver or even tumors
• in vast majority of cases, the disease stays dorment and and posses no signs or symptoms at all
