my husband got a trauma in his rt knee. he doesnt have problem while sitting and lying down but while walking his leg is going side ways from knee joint area. he is having severe pain while climbing or coming down staircase.
Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
today morning they took him to the hospital emergency , their they took xray and doctor told no fracture , did some physical examinations and send him back, he was constantly telling doctor that he cant walk hhis leg is going outward from knee joint area

The normal x-ray findings can rule out the possibility of fracture but this cannot rule out the other possible causes .

- This may be due to meniscal tear.
- This could be due to teat of the muscles or the tendons.
