What to do if you swallow forign body?

you should consult a doctor and to do X ray to your abdomen and chest area. If the forign body in the trachia this is emergency and doctor will remove it by endoscopy, if the forign body in the stomach or pharynx then the doctor will observe you till it come out with stool

When to do surgery to remove the forign body from abdomen?

You can only do surgery when there is intestinal obstruction in this case there is no benefit from observation because this is also emergency and doctor will do surgery for you to remove the forign body from your intestine.
