Treatment of delayed menses

Regular menses come each month. Absent menses is common condition that affect high percentage of females due to many factors and causes. Evaluation and treatment of like condition is by the following

• At first, you have to do pregnancy test as pregnancy is the commonest cause of absent menses.
• If there is no pregnancy, it is better to wait for days or one month as temporary absent menses is common condition due to temporary unexplained causes.
• If problem continues, seek for medical help to be examined by Gynecologist doctor and do US.
• Tests like prolactin and thyroid function tests are also good tests to exclude other causes of absent menses
