What are the tests that you need to do?

you need to do esophageal basium study to diagnose if there is a mass inside esophagus or not.
aslo I recommend to do CBC,

What are the options to temporary relieve of symptoms?

take omeprazole 10 mg twice a day for 14 days and if symptoms last then consult a doctor to look for something elase.
