How to treat Kidney stones?

In most cases of kidney stones, the treating physician may require that the patient be treated in his  home environment. He can take painkillers, as well as drink sufficient amounts of water and other fluids, to prevent him from being dehydrated. The doctor may prescribe a medication that will help break the pebble out of the body.
When the stone is too large, so that it can not go out on its own, or if the stone is stuck inside the urinary tract, it may need additional treatment. The most common medical kidney stones treatment is based on ultrasound, called the Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL). This treatment breaks the stones into the kidneys and converts them into very small crumbs, by ultrasound or shock waves. These crumbs are so small that they can pass through the urinary system to get out of the body, then, through the urine.
In other cases, the urologist may need to remove the stone in an operation or by inserting a stint into the bladder to keep an open passage allowing the gravel to pass through the bladder.

What is the preffered test to do now?

I recommend to do Urine analysis just to see if there is blood in urine and also I recommend to do CBC and abdominal ultrasound
