Treatment of foot pain

It is one of the commonest problem and complain that affect high percentage of people due to many medical causes and factors which result in pain. Treatment is by the following

• At first, you have to avoid long standing as you can
• Decrease your weight and wear healthy shoes.
• Take analgesics like ibuprofen 400 mg three times daily to relieve pain.
• Take one tab of Tegretol 200 mg at night to relieve symptoms.
• Do initial tests which i will mentioned below.

Causes of foot pain

There are many like the following

• Long standing and obesity
• Wearing unhealthy shoes
• Planter fasciitis
• Osteoporosis
• Gout
• Inflammation at foot joints
• Other causes

Investigations for foot pain

There are many and the commonest you have to do are

• CBC,
• ESR , CRP
• Uric acid level
• X ray of foot
