Welcome! How can I help with your medical question?
I'm a 60 years old male with right supraclavicular enlarged lymph node size 2.2*3cm on CT scan with contrast, appeared 3 months ago, CT scan on neck showed normal results except for enlarged parotid glands that have been there for around 10 years, possibly Warthin tumor. Chest x-ray showed normal, also I've normal CBC and blood tests except for high ESR, I show no other symptoms, what would be the possible reasons?!
Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
I've seen a chest doctor and he prescribed antibiotics for almost a month but the lymph is still same size.
Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
No just that, I've been losing weight gradually over the past 5-7 years for no specific reason other than dental problems where almost all my teeth are lost due to dental carries and I face problems chewing food.

What are the tests that you need to doo to diagnose the cause for enlargement of supraclavicular lymph nodes?
first of all you need to consult a doctor to examine you and to assess the condition of supraclavicular lymph nodes after this the doctor will determine if your condition mandate further management or not. I mean you need a second assessment. After this you need to do CT for stomach and abdomen to assess if there is any massess there also you need to do some tests like:
CBC, ESR, CRP, AST, ALT, LDH, Creatinin, Urea, Those tests will help you at least will help in the diagnosis process..
I just want to add some tests to consider,, like tests for viral infections EBV, CMV, HIV
What are the possibilities?
well this is early to said but there is possibility of having tumor, or infectious process due to bacteria, fungus or parasites.
in general you need to continue the process of assessment.

Thank you for your response, I'd like to know if masses from stomache could affect right supraclavicular and not the left one?!

Regarding your question
The supraclavicular lymph node takes it supply from the lymphatic system in the abdomen , so it can reflect any malignancy in the abdomen mainly the stomache , but the right side isn't related to stomache

regarding your question , there are many causes of lymph node enlargment that are :
lymphadenitis
infections of the throat or tonsills
tumers in rare cases , if there are many lymph nodes
in your cases , the enlargment of the lymph node in the right side not associated with malignancy of the stomache ,

Hello,there is an update I did an ultrasound which showed it as a neoplastik mass of neorgenic origin of size 2.3*1.6 cm, I've right shoulder pain . It shows as solid echogenic irregular mass but not a lymph node.

It is better to seek for medical help to be examined by neurosurgeon for surgical removal of the mass
