Hello can I take cefixime I actually don't know which bacterial I got my vaginal discharge is whitish and foil smell which is the best medicine I can use
Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
I havent gone to any doctor just adviced by a friend of mine to use cefixime or azithromycin
Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
No thats all I only have vaginal discharge and its like foul ND some times I spot without period can you advice me which medicine is the best

Treatment of vaginal discharge
It is one of the commonest complain that affect high percentage of females due to many causes which result in many symptoms. Treatment of vaginal discharge is by the following
- The commonest cause of vaginal discharge is due to bacterial vaginosis due to alteration of bacteria dominant inside vagina.
- Take one tab of fluconazole 150 mg just one dose.
- Metronidazole 500 mg twice daily for seven days.
- Azithromycin 500 mg once daily for five days.
- Apply mikonazole cream to relieve symptoms of itching.
Causes of vaginal discharge
There are many causes of vaginal discharge like the following
- Bacterial vaginosis
- Trichonoma vaginitis
- Candida infection
- Physiologic discharge
Symptoms of bacterial vaginosis
There are many symptoms like the following
- Lower abdominal and back pain
- Vaginal discharge
- Itching and burning sensation of the vagina
- Nausea and vomiting
