Why I am having spotting now? I have my menstrual period last Feb 14-18

Not yet.I am taking Isotretinoin for my acne.

I have irregular cycle on my period since january.I had my menstruation last January 21-25 then after two weeks I had menstruation again from Feb 14-18.And today I experienced spotting.

- At most cases , the cause of irregular menses does not known and it is idiopathic
- At first, The mentioned drug for acne which you took does not cause irregular menses thus you can continue taking it safely.
- You have to avoid stress and depression as you can
- Ask for thyroid and prolactin hormones tests
- Do uterine US to exclude uterine causes of irregular menses
- After exclusion of common causes , you can ask your doctor for hormonal pills to regulate your menses like combined oral pills.

There are many causes of irregular menses like the following
- Idiopathic
- Stress and depression
- Poor nutrition
- Thyroid and prolactin hormones problems
- Uterine causes like fibroids and inflammation

There is what is known as implantation spotting but you experience problem for months and not just one month but you can ask for pregnancy test

if there is pregnancy at this month there is no problem but if there is no pregnancy you have to regulate your period to get good chance of pregnancy
