• you should do preconception checkup by your doctor to take a full medical history and to examine you and do CBC test 
• take folic acid supplememts 
• stop smoking or alcohol drinking 
• take multivitamins supplement 
• having sex three days before ovulation and through out the ovulation time. 
• lay for at least 15-20 minute after having sex 
• dont go to the bathroom after having sex 

What tests you need to do:

1. Semen analysis for the husband
2. LH,FSH for the wife
3. TSH for the wife
4. Ultrasound for abdomen

What could cause infertility or subfertility:

1. Abnormal semen
2. Endometriosis
3. Uterine fibroids
4. Hypo or hyperthyrodism
5. Some medications
6. Adenomyiosis
7. Ovarian cysts
